Strange sign . . .but we obeyed. Well we took a shortcut across the part no-one else was allowed into and then we went to the front of the line. other than that . . . we obeyed. Ming Tombs.

No-one was game enough to deny Davo her long awaited ride on an elephant. Did anyone tell her we were not in Thailand? She later spied a dozen or more Pink Elephants in the hotel in Shanghai but that's another story. Ming Tombs.

Most of us had to walk up these steps. Not Emperor Bugs. Seven flights of stairs down into the tomb he was toted and he was rumoured to have said "Big stupid hole in the ground . . . wasn't worth the walk down here!" The guys still carried His Highness back up the 7 flights.

The view of the Forbidden City from Tenimen (is that how you spell it?) Square. They let us in though? Strange.

Most of these people tried to go incognito, except for Katy who figured she would blend in with the locals. How come Wei Ping's got his glasses on? Tenimen Square.

Where's Bugsy? At this sight Bugs was overheard to have complained "Me . . I'd call it a Mediocre Wall myself ." Great Wall.

Everyone else was quite impressed.
